I recently found this site and just want to say you did a great job with documentation on the history of the 282nd AHC.
I was with the 282nd AHC, '67-'68, Da Nang, Spec-5. I was a crew chief and also worked power train. I recall working with Claude Esther, and crewed with the Fishbeck brothers. And I can remember the sign on our gun hooch said 'Tony's Pizza'.

Hello.
My uncle, Reijo Majamaki, was a Black Cat crew chief in '68-'69. Reijo passed away in 1988, aged 46. I would like you to add his name to the "In Memoriam" page.
Here is a pic of Reijo:

I would like to share his pics with the Black Cats.
Thanks,
Roy
Roy, I knew your uncle very well. Please shoot me an email with your phone number I would enjoy speaking with you about your uncle.
`Roy,
Your uncle was my door gunner whom I never will forget. He was quite the character, he took offense when I told him he couldn't keep his canteen filled with Vodka when we were flying. He took great pride in being an American soldier and a Black Cat.

Thank you all for your courageous service. E. Bart Colburn of Black Cat 29 is my father in law. I am looking for any pictures, info, or stories on him for his daughter Jennifer. He passed recently, and was estranged from his children for quite a long time. Any help is greatly appreciated. sager8710@msn.com or 425-328-8936.
My son purchased a jacket at a garage sale a couple years ago it is his favorite thing ever. He has been trying to do research on it. Everyone he wears it (he's 9 years old so we let him because there is no mistake or stolen Valor issues, he's just a kid) some adult offers him a lot of money for it. The name on the jacket is Sullivan. Can anyone give us any info on this jacket? Thanks
Where did he purchase it. We had several Sullivan's in the unit. did it have any rank insignia on it?
Jenifer: I need more info on the jacket. Where did you buy it? Any other patches insignia on the jacket? It could have been the 282nd commander in 1967 Col Bill Sullivan. We also had other Sullivan's in the company. If it was a leather jacket it was probably his. Ted Kearns
I will not be at the 2015 reunion. Have a great time.
