I am passing on the sad news of the loss of our Brother, Jim Burnett (67-68 Pilot) June 8, 2022. Please keep a place in your heart for his family during this difficult time. Rest in Peace Brother.

Let's remember and honor our fallen Brothers of the 282nd who gave their all in the defense of our country. Rest in Peace Brothers till we meet again.

We have received notice of the passing of one of our 282nd AHC pilots, William R Benoit (67-68) on November 2, 2021. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all his family. Rest in Peace Brother.

We lost another Brother of the 282AHC, John Silberman, Pilot BC-28 (69-70) passed away January 21, 2022. Our deepest condolences to his family for the loss of our Brother. May he rest in peace.

I wish all the Brothers of the 282nd AHC a Happy Veterans Day. It was a honor to serve with many of you.

It is with a very heavy heart  I report the passing of Charles "Scotty" McLaughlan on October 28, 2021. Scotty was a crew chief 67-68 with the 282nd AHC. Please keep all his family in your prayers. 

It is with deep sadness I report to you the loss of Tommy Toborg (69-70 Gunner) on October 14, 2021 from our Blackcat/Alleycat family. Please remember his family in your prayers. Rest in peace Brother.
