Is one of the items on your bucket list one more chance to ride in a Huey? Well, the Black Cat Association is working with the Army Aviation Heritage Association to make that wish come true. They will provide a Huey at our reunion next year in Columbus, GA for your chance to take a ride. The cost of the ride is $65.00 based on 50 people. The normal cost for a Huey ride anywhere else is $135.00. All Black Cats and Alley Cats and their guests are invited to take a ride. I need to know no later than the end of January who wants to take advantage of this opportuinty. Just shoot me an email and let me know.

Went to Moline, IL in early June to play in fund raiser golf tournament for former Alley Cat crew chief Jeff Perez. His sons Joe, Jay and Tim put on the tournament to raise funds for Jeff's 501-3c non-profit Alley Cat Fight Club. $4300 was raised to pay for travel and meals for his fighters. He has trained several Silver Glove national champions over the last few years. His wonderful efforts to help at risk kids has made a difference in the lives of many Moline kids. It was a real honor to be a part of something special and see the community respect he so deservingly has earned in the city of Moline. James M McGuire, Alley Cat 7, 67-68.

Found your site and was surprised! I started my aviation carrer with HHD 52 Avn Bn in VN. Spent most of the year at Kontom flying the two corp commander. I never had the honor of meeting many members of the unit. Still have a patch and a plack from the unit.
