Everyone be very careful that you don't let seeing "old" faces (Like at a 50th aniversary Reunion) drive you to heart problems. We all wish David Schumacher a speedy recovery after his recent heart problems. Get well soon Brother.
Thanks to Ray & Kay Jennings and all who helped with the 2015 Reunion. We all had a great time and we understand it was the largest turnout to date too!
I flew door gunner 66-67 with Kelly,fishbeck brothers, Melvin,Hartley
Crew chief and radio operator with the Black Cats, 12/68 to 9/69. Black Cat Flash.
Who hit the skids again?

We lost William Lark on August 31, lived in Charleston, SC, been ill since the 70's, AO. I have been in touch with him for many years. We were at Marble Mtn 66/67. We were in airframe class at Ft Eustis, Va. he was 74. He is sitting in front of me in photo.
Ray I have sent a year book and 2 photo albums and I have just found 2 boxes of slides and 5 rools of 8mm film, l am going to see if I can get them put on cd for the reunion, due to a prior commitment I can not mack this years reunion but would help host the next one on the west cost in 2017 or in alaska where I live.
Ron shoot me an email with your phone number so I can get some information to add you to our roster.
I recently found this site and just want to say you did a great job with documentation on the history of the 282nd AHC.
I was with the 282nd AHC, '67-'68, Da Nang, Spec-5. I was a crew chief and also worked power train. I recall working with Claude Esther, and crewed with the Fishbeck brothers. And I can remember the sign on our gun hooch said 'Tony's Pizza'.

Hello.
My uncle, Reijo Majamaki, was a Black Cat crew chief in '68-'69. Reijo passed away in 1988, aged 46. I would like you to add his name to the "In Memoriam" page.
Here is a pic of Reijo:

I would like to share his pics with the Black Cats.
Thanks,
Roy
Roy, I knew your uncle very well. Please shoot me an email with your phone number I would enjoy speaking with you about your uncle.
`Roy,
Your uncle was my door gunner whom I never will forget. He was quite the character, he took offense when I told him he couldn't keep his canteen filled with Vodka when we were flying. He took great pride in being an American soldier and a Black Cat.
