Our newsletter, the Black Cat News, is a publication for veterans of the 282nd Assault Helicopter Company. It is published quarterly and we invite members to send pictures and articles of interest to share with fellow Blackcats and Alleycats. The Association has Unit caps, patches (both Blackcat and Alleycat), pins, coffee mugs, and much more available for sale. A list will be in your newsletter. The current BLACK CAT NEWS is posted here.
Due to increases in the cost of printing and mailing the Newsletter to almost 500 members, we need for members to pay their dues to cover these expenses. If you haven't paid your membership dues for this year, please contact Jerry Staggs, our Treasurer, to do so. You can get Jerry's phone number and email address from the ROSTER.
We are in the process of negotiating cheaper printing prices, and reducing costs by using cheaper mass mailing provisions for non-profit organizations. We hope to always be able to afford to print a Newsletter for every member, and send it by regular post to those brothers who do not have email and web access.
